Read the Book
Students begin by reading It’s Just Not Worth It, annotating key sections, and reflecting on guided questions. This step builds awareness and personal connection to the material.
Class Discussion
Teachers or officers lead meaningful classroom conversations, helping students relate the lessons to real-life situations and understand the impact of their choices.
Skills Checks
Students complete interactive activities designed to reinforce awareness, responsibility, and decision-making skills.
Ongoing Learning
The program includes 12 Skills Checks placed throughout the curriculum. Each is paired with collaborative, hands-on activities that deepen understanding and promote continuous growth.
Professional Development & Training
Comprehensive training is provided for police officers and teachers to ensure confident, consistent, and effective implementation. Facilitators receive clear guidance, resources, and ongoing support to deliver the program successfully.
